Logistics Center Germersheim

In 2010 and 2011 the existing large logistics center had been planned by ICS. Now an extension has been planned. The new annex will adopt the proven construction of the existing logistics center, with precast concrete elements, sandwich panel facades and a heated floor slab. Special demands are made on this floor slab in terms of load-bearing capacity, evenness and, partially, protection against leaking chemicals. The new building is essentially divided into three areas: A shipping hall with eight dock levellers, a warehouse with high-bay storage and an automatic conveyor belt system, as well as an administration area.
